TANGERINE PEEL EXPERIMENT
TANGERINE PEEL EXPERIMENT
2 19 26
You asked to sit in the chair. I stood behind you. Then you asked for the tangerine peel that had come into view. I reached with one hand while guarding your weight with the other. You tore it apart until there were twenty small pieces. You brought one to your mouth. I said no eating. You tried again. I said no eating. You tried a third time. I said nothing. You laughed, put it down, and slipped your pacifier back in. Then you started moving the pieces to another chair. I ran to grab the memory card from my MacBook Pro so I could take a photo. You ran after me. I turned back before you could reach me and met you halfway. You laughed. Your experiments make up most of our days. You test. You look back. You continue.
