I didn’t set out to start a blogcast.  
In fact, I didn’t set out to start anything at all.  

I came up with the name S.A.D. STORIES several months ago.  
And thought, what should I do with it.  

At first, I imagined using it to record our everyday moments at home.  
But it’s not always possible to grab my Nikon Z8 and capture every one of them.  
The best moments don’t wait for your lens.  

As I was updating your favorite little human™, the idea came.  
Why not a blogcast.  

It fits who I am.  
Some days I’m talkative.  
Others, I’m quiet.  
Some days I want to share out loud.  
Others, I just want to reflect.  

Ironically, it took me nine months.  
The same age my son was when I began writing.  
To shape this idea into something real.  

The timing wasn’t planned.  
But it feels right.  
Nine months to grow him.  
Nine months to grow this.  

A blogcast isn’t quite a blog.  
It isn’t quite a podcast.  
It’s something in between.  
Something slower.  
Calmer.  
More personal.  

Something I now call  
THE BLOGCAST.  

This is just me  
sharing what it feels like to raise a child  
while staying home  
and staying creative.  

Some days are quiet.  
Most are not.  
All of them are worth remembering.  

So that’s what I do here.  
I remember.  

This is what THE BLOGCAST sounds like.  
It’s only sad if you don’t laugh.
