I didn’t set out to start a blogcast.  
In fact, I didn’t set out to start anything at all.  

I came up with the name S.A.D. STORIES. and thought, What should I do with it?  
At first, I imagined using it to record our everyday moments at home —  
but it’s not always possible to grab my Nikon Z8 and capture every one of them.  
The best moments don’t wait for your lens.  

As I was updating your favorite little human™, the idea came:  
Why not a blogcast?  
It fits who I am. Some days I’m talkative, others I’m quiet.  
Some days I want to share out loud. Others, I just want to reflect.  

Ironically, it took me nine months — the same age my son was when I began writing —  
to shape this idea into something real.  
The timing wasn’t planned, but it feels right.  
Nine months to grow him, nine months to grow this.  

A blogcast isn’t quite a blog. It isn’t quite a podcast.  
It’s something in between. Something slower, softer, and more personal.  
Something I now call THE BLOGCAST.  

This is just me sharing what it feels like to raise a child  
while staying home and staying creative.  
Some days are quiet. Some are not.  
All of them are worth remembering.  

So that’s what I do here. I remember.  
This is what THE BLOGCAST sounds like.  
It’s only sad if you don’t laugh.
