He wants to know what everything is. If he sees something unfamiliar, he looks back at me like he’s asking, “What’s that?” So I tell him. He listens. Then he looks at it again. And back at me. He wants more. So I explain. “It zaps the bugs. There’s a problem with flies here, especially near the dog run. It zaps them. It kills them.” He watches it a second longer. Then looks forward again, as if to say, Alright, Dad. Next adventure.
