WHAT THIS WEDDING TAUGHT ME

I finished and delivered the gallery.  
My first shoot since becoming a S.A.D.  

It wasn’t the editing that slowed me down.  
It was the hours.  

Not a setback.  
Just a new way of working.  

Learning to edit between naps and walks,  
and to count progress in moments,  
not hours.  

The flow of work is different now,  
fitted between naps, walks, and play.  

My desk time is no longer mine alone.  

I don’t measure by hours anymore.  
I measure by naps,  
by walks,  
by how many times he asks me to read *Around You*.  

This wedding has taught me a lot.  
The photographs are theirs forever,  
as the lesson is mine.
